I was really pleased with the quality of this shot as i did not use any special equipment and did not even need to clean the photo afterwards in photoshop. I love how crisp the crescent moon looks. My friends really liked the Eid card it turned into.
The shadow of the lens shades provides a great dark frame for this shot of the gorgeous city of Edinburgh taken from one of the niches looking out of the Castle of Edinburgh.
